Gravel Free Download [key Serial]
A newbie's guide to gaming on Linux Linux gaming has come a long way in the past few years. It may not yet be as big as Windows or MacOS, but it is certainly worth your time and effort to find out if you're living with a limited OS. Gone are the days of feeling like a second-class citizen on your favorite game forum, and playing on Linux is now as easy as installing the distro of your choice and downloading Steam (or whichever online store you prefer). But that is far from the full picture. To truly explore your Linux gaming experience you need to know where to look, what to install, and what additional tools will soon bridge the gap between Steam and wherever you want to call home for playing online games. Gravel, my new buddy My first experience with Linux was back in 1999 when I came across it by accident on a friend's desktop. It wasn't until I had accidentally downloaded the wrong file under Windows that I decided against reinstalling Windows and instead moved completely over to Linux. It was quite an adventure at first but I quickly fell in love. By far my favorite part of this adventure has been gaming on Linux. My current favorite title is Urban Terror Urban Terror, but that is not the one I want to talk about today. I want to introduce you to a game called Gravel. Gravel has been around for some time now, but I only recently discovered it after making the jump to Fedora 25 on my desktop machine. Gravel is a fun truck racing game where you can play online with your friends or against your enemies, all of which are ghost trucks that can drive straight through walls and other obstacles. This makes for some frantic driving where you are never quite sure who will be passing through at any given moment. Gravel is a simple game for simple folks, but it has something that no other game has thus far in my Linux gaming experience. It's available on Steam. Installing Gravel Before you hop into your truck for some gravel-themed fun, you're going to need to install the game. I like terminal, but if you're not feeling like typing everything out it's easy enough to install via Fedora's Software center or by using your favorite package manager (yum, apt-get). Once installed you can simply run Gravel via the command line (gravel) or open up the launcher and enjoy the simple interface. I prefer the terminal... Installing Gravel at the command line (gravel) Once you've got the game installed let's take a look at how it works. First, open up a terminal and install the game itself. I'm going to assume that you already have your Steam account activated and can log into it via your login credentials; if not, I highly recommend doing so now. There are multiple ways you can do this, but for this article I'm simply going to use one of my many accounts. If you already have one of your own it will be easy to make an account using steam://connect/username@steamid; if not, just register for one here .
